Franchitti and No.40 to cease Cup operations

When the caution flag was displayed in the closing laps of the rain-shortened race, Montoya's No.42 Dodge hit Busch's No.18 Toyota from behind and put Busch in a spin.
Busch wins rain-shortened race at Loudon
Kurt Busch's crew chief Pat Tryson kept the No.2 Penske Racing Dodge on the track when all the leaders pitted for fuel, and it turned out to be the winning move as Busch captured Sunday afternoon's Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway when a rain storm came barreling through the Loudon area.
Carpentier surprises in Loudon
Patrick Carpentier took advantage of cooler conditions after a one-hour, 45-minute rain delay and captured the pole for Sunday's Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at the New Hampshire International Speedway. The top-five on the grid all qualified after the rain delay.
Bowyer signs with RCR for three years
Clint Bowyer, driver of the No.07 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, said on Friday that he had "signed up with RCR for three more years."
