An East Price Hill man is now held on $100,000 bond after he allegedly attacked police officers, and his own mother this past weekend.
35 year old Anthony Asher appeared before a judge today.
Police were called to the 3000 block of Mickey Avenue on Saturday when Asher allegedly attacked his mother by throwing a coffee table at her legs. He is also accused of trying to stab her while breaking various items through out the home.
When police caught up with Asher in Carthage he became violent with them by kicking and spitting their faces. He also threatened the arresting officer.
It's not clear what may have led up to the attack and rampage.
Asher is charged with assault and felonious assault and won't be able to get out of jail unless he posts his whole bond in cash.
