Ingredients4 slices bacon
8 oz. (3 c) mushrooms, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz. cream cheese
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. sour cream
buttery flavored crackers
Directions
Cook bacon until crisp, drain. Reserve 2 Tbsp. drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside.
Cook mushrooms, onion and garlic in drippings until tender and most liquid is evaporated. Stir in flour, salt and pepper; add cream cheese, Worcestershire and soy sauces. Cook until cream cheese melts, stir in sour cream and bacon. Heat through, but do not boil.
Serve warm on buttery crackers.
Makes 3 cups.
