Ingredients1 1/4 c. water
1/3 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
4 eggs
3/4 c. finely chopped pepperoni
3/4 c. parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. snipped fresh parsley
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
prepared sauce (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease 2 large baking sheets. In a large saucepan, combine water and shortening. Bring to a boil. Add flour all at once, stirring vigorously. Cook and stir until mixture becomes firm. Remove from heat. Cool for 10 minutes. Add eggs, beating well one at a time. Stir in pepperoni, cheese, parsley and seasoning. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons onto baking sheets. Bake 15-17 minutes or until golden. Transfer to wire rack. Serve warm with sauce for dipping.
