2 apples
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup cider vinegar
¼ teaspoon cloves, ground

¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup water
2 ounces brandy
Dice apples with skin on and core removed. In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar and bring to a boil. Add cranberries, apples, vinegar, ginger, salt, cloves and brandy. Bring to a boil. Simmer 20 to 25 minutes, stirring often, until mixture thickens. Cool and refrigerate. Makes 15 servings.
